A refund was made to my Absa bank account on the 17 March from an overseas store which has still not been refunded into my account dated 26 April. I wrote to Absa several times and have received only one email in response that someone would email me and no one has. I am trying to track R1900 which should have been a straight forward refund and as I am still overseas, I cannot personally go to a branch to query my moneys whereabouts. I ALWAYS have an issue with Absa when I am overseas, either my cards don't work (which really isn't helpful when you are travelling overseas AND you actually asked their employees if your card would in fact work) or I am sent an RVN to my cell phone which doesn't work here even though I queried these matters before my trip to my account being blocked due to a technical error. Nevermind that such errors occur, I am shuffled from one person to the next and it takes months before the issues are handled. I really just want someone who can help me track my 2 grand.
