Personal banker my foot

I am so extremely disgusted with ABSA, I am supposed to have a personal banker but when I desperately needed one within seconds, I was told by my branch that they now "only have one" personal banker and that she was not in the office. I told them that somebody was scamming money out of my account at the very minute and that I was overseas. It took ages till they put me through to "Enquiries" and the people at enquiries told me they could not help me, I had to phone credit card and gave me an 0800 number. This number does not work from overseas.By the time I got the card stopped from overseas (which took more than an hour) the money had been moved out of my card and now that I am back they say they cannot do anything as I reported the too late. I am shocked and outraged and even the "bank manager" cannot help me. I have been banking with ABSA for more than 35 years but I am leaving them asap. Can someone give me advice on whether I have any foot to stand on with claiming this money back from ABSA?
