First National Bank
Wrong Device Delivered

I ordered an Ipad Mini through FNB but an incorrect device (Ipad 4) was delivered on Monday (15th), Tuseday I immediately called the call centre to find out that according to the application on the system an Ipad mini was applied for but somehow the courier was instructed to deliver an Ipad 4. The consultant (Clyde) informed me that collection of the incorrect device would be arranged within 48 hours. Called the courier yesterday as it was day two and the courier indicated to me that they have not yet received the instruction for collection from FNB. I then called FNB and again spoke to Clyde who told me that they have no control over the process and told me to hold on for his manager which I ended up waiting for 5 minutes and no one picked up. I again called the courier today and again was told that FNB haven't instructed them to collect.

I am very frustrated as this was a mistake that FNB has made and no one seems to be able to help or willing. I was told by the consultant that he sends an email to a central email address and things must take its course from there. But couldn't tell him what happens if it doesn't or the situation is slightly different.
