I applied for the R190/month IPAD deal last month where you get an IPAD mini 250meg data and 2GIG ADSL. I was sent a message to congratulate me on qualifying for the deal and that my device would be delivered shortly. They delivered the IPAD mini and when I tried to switch it on it had no SIM card, I then went to the branch who told me that they couldn't assist me and that I had to contact the company that delivered it. I did so and they told me to contact FNB. I ask them to check and they responded that I did not qualify for the deal which is why they delivered just the IPAD - I explained that I had signed for the deal with the data and that they couldn't just send me whatever they liked where after I contacted FNB. Thank the Lord it was still within my 7 days that they could cancel - even though my first call was on day 2 of receiving the device. This has however not helped as the device is still charged to my account even though it has been collected. If i did not qualify for the deal i should have been informed and the whole mess would not have occurred - I am disgusted by FNB.
