Dial Direct armed claim in Dispute

On the 26th Mar 2013 we had an armed at home. At gun point Laptops, tab, cell phone and Jewellery were. We were insured for R 237 600.00. On the night of calling the Dial Direct emergency number all that was said was we had to report this to the Police and get a case number. The Police was already at home with the full team of forensics and figure print experts. Their response time was 8 mins incredible response. Dial direct on the other hand did not even dispatch an trauma counsellors or even send out a lock smith to change the locks because the robbers had taken the Car keys as well as the house keys with remotes. The assessor Kurt Malan comes through the next day and does a assessment of the household contents and only phones on informs me on the 9th April that I am under insured. This was established after the armed on the 26th March. To date I am told the claim is on hold. They will only pay out R10 000. Insurance Policies are supposed to give you peace of mind not further stress when a claim arises. When you are honest you have to fight for what is rightfully yours, but when you are dishonest you get everything on a silver platter. I will not recommend
