I went to African bank SEcunda branch. To apply for a credit card. I emailed my document through at 8am I was told I would be called in an hour. After 2 hours of no response I went back in I was told they did not receive my statements. I printed them and took them in again. I was told I would get a response in an you're. After hours of no response I called and told I was approved for x limit. I took bank statements and went in. After she printed the contract and was dating it I asked the interest rate etc.she then tells me it's a personal loan not a credit card!!! I did not apply for a personal loan!!! I applied for a credit card!!! Disappointed wont go back their again! Isn't it illegal to do a credit check on my name for something I never applied for?
