Still awaiting my pension benefits

I served my noticed at FNB Biblio Plaza until 21 January 2013 & on this day submitted the necessary forms & a copy of my ID. I was told that it will take 6weeks to process my claim but 11weeks later I'm still being given the run-around. Sometime in February my former branch called to say the Pension Fund people had called asking for my ID copy again which I submitted but never heard from them again. I have been going to my previous branch requesting them to follow up & I think they have now tired out because they claim they call but no one picks up & they won't/are not allowd to give me the numbers to call them myself. My reasons for terminating my employment were due to ill health & now I'm left with no medical aid or cash to pay my medical costs nor living expense. Can someone please explain to me what the hold up is as I'm not applying for a loan or anything, I just want what is due to me; I am entitled to that money.
