This is umpteenth time i'm lodging the same complaint since mum went on pension in, 31December 2012. We have been paying her medical aid out of pocket to Bonitas since the until now, while government is taking its own time losing her documents w.r.t. her medical aid. we resubmitted her medical aid membership certificate 4 times to the pension fund to process the subsidy but everytime we are told her medical aid says she terminated her madial aid. the moast bizarre story ever. we pay R2000 every month and yet she doesn't belong to the medical aid when it suits the employer to finalise her pension and medical subsidy and the medical aid? so now the pension fund/employer claims to have send my mum and medical aid a letter on May 15th 2013 that states & confirms they have finalised the medical aid subsidy but my mum has not received anything and neither has the medical aid. I'm being pushed from pillar to post at the mdeical aid and the pension fund. they both tell me to do their job for them, I have to get the subsidy letter from the pension fund and fax/email to bonitas to complete and email/fax back to pensio fund for the pension fund to back pay the 7months we have been paying.
