I lost my credit card and reported it to the branch (Langeberg Mall) and they issued me with a debit card as a temporary measure linking it to the internet etc. For this I was charged R76, 00.They phoned telling me that as I had not made a minimum payment on the 2 April they could not issue a new card until payment was made. I went into the internet thinking I would transfer the funds from my current account. Lo and behold my credit account had been closed showing a nil balance and I got the message that there weren't enough accounts to do a transfer from or to. I wanted to check balances on my investments but on entering the card number got the message that the card number was wrong.
I have been a client of the bank since 1952 i.e 61 years and this is the service I get. Maybe Capitec is the answer!
