Good Day
Two weeks ago i did a inter account transfer from my current account into my credit card using the mobile banking app. After five days had passed with the money still not reflecting in my credit card account, i called standard bank to query this. I was told that standard bank is experiencing problems in credit card transfers and was offered a temporary limit increase. When the money was transferred into my credit card i transferred the money back into my current account. Three days later my credit account is gone into a minus and the ATM receipt says your account has been suspended. I called standard bank this morning 18/06/2013 7:45AM For the second time to query this, only to be told the same thing that my original transfer has not yet cleared and was given a temporary limit increase again. My accounts are always in good standing and because of a glitch in standard banks system my limit is now gone over and into a minus, which in turn will effect my credit rating. No one i spoke to at the standard bank call center can tell me when my original funds will clear. I will never ever transfer funds electronically to my credit card again. Very Poor service and a major inconvenience.
