I am so disgusted by the Norwood FNB Branch in Jhb! How can they just transfer my account to Refco without consulting me about the fact that I did not get my salary for the last two months due to a problem at our office?
After so many years with the institution I was shocked and embarrassed when I called them and find out about my account? I was In contact with your help desk every second week just to give an update on my status, but clearly, this was not acceptable for the Norwood Branch. I am not one who takes things for granted but just to hand my account over? What the was that? I was paid by cheque and when I went to deposit it to correct my account, was embarrassed when the cashier informed me that they can't accept my cheque due to my account being "HARD LOCK". Now for a person who pays over R600 a month in bank fees, why would a organisation do something like this? Is this what account holders are worth to them? Well Thank you FNB for making the experience the worst I have ever received. I am not leaving this here. I have already logged a complaint with the NCR, with the National Banking Ombudsman of South Africa, and on [URL Removed]
