Ank account soft lock not removed

I visited the FNB tygervalley branch after opening a cheque account telephonic with them, I received an sms to go and collect my card at the branch and take along my proof of address and identity document for verification purposes, so I did all that, was in the branch for about an hour to complete everything. Now on my sallary day, I didn't receive anything. So I did call customer service and they told me that my account still have a block on. Now I wanna know, who is going to take responsibility for this? All my accounts must be paid, and because I didn't know that it still has a lock on and that is why I didn't bring my identification document to work. I was at the branch so I asked the manager I would only like to know if there is a problem with the account before I called the helpline, so she said she can't look, cause I must have an I'd. So that is the worst service ever, because I didn't want money from the account, I only wanted to know if there is a problem, which she didn't wanted to assist me with.
