I bought a Mini-cooper Sport this week - brand new - and I am currently 24 years old.
Outsurance quoted me R2800 for insurance, Virgin Money said they will not insure someone under 25 with a "high performance vehicle" and BMW finance gave me insurance for R2062 - with an excess of R8000 (R3000, plus an additional R5000 because I am under 25 years old). A few other insurance providers said the same thing - and HIPPO - they actually hung up on me when they heard my age and car choice during the quotation process.
King price quoted me R1500 - full comprehensive cover .. plus treated me very well.
Yatish was a star on the phone to me.
Lets hope if I claim - the experience is the same.
