Setting EAP Limit for first time

I registered for internet banking for the second time due to my card changing. I then had to set my eap limit again as it was defaulted to zero for some reason. Then when phoning to set it was told that I had to go into the branch to set the limit because it was originally zero. As it is a saturday i cannot do this and have to wait til next week to do it and take time off of work to sort this out.

I think this is absolute and am infuriated at standard bank. They advertise how quick and easy it is to set up internet banking but this has been the most frustrating process I have ever been through. The reason I was given for having to go into the branch was so they could verify that it was me. While I had to answer 5 questions related to my account and ID number before I could even register so don't see why i have to go into the branch. I also have never had to go into the branch to set this limit before and was able to do it over the phone. This has been a huge inconvenience to me and now I will be late on payments that needed to be made NOW so will have to pay penalties because of this.

I am seriously considering changing banks as this was absolute.
