Never ever agree to any products from Absa in fact im leaving the bank and I'm off to Capitec.
I was phoned by one of their sales people to be part of ABSA rewards in 2011 December
I agreed to the product and they have been debiting R21.00 ever y month, today I call to check how much my rewards are and they tell me its R10.
Now I don't care what type of rewards it is if R366 worth of debits bring you R10.
This is a big rip off.
I then call their call centre and the lady went straight to the terms and conditions instead of finding what was said to me in the sales call.
I then asked for the recording and I really do
I ask to speak to a senior and im made a fool and get blind transferred to another agent, im a member of the Call centre management group and I hope ABSA joins the awards I will ensure that this email is noted by others in the service and banking industry.
Apparently I have been on a NO reward package since 2011 until June 2012, which means I have been paying for nothing since then
I basically became a reward member since july 2012, all along some fat cat at ABSA has been using my lousy R21.00 to pay for his parking while I thought I have some rewards coming my
