I am an existing customer of FNB Cresta. I was attracted by an offer on line to apply for a Gold Petro Card which for some reason they would link to my credit card. It did not give any terms or conditions but advertised free AA membership when applying on line for the card. I have used the petro card 4 or 5 times and found out to my horror that I have been charged interest on the amounts of petrol I have purchased plus a transaction fee. I was not aware of these charges otherwise I most certainly not have applied for the petro card and would have continued using my cheque card for fuel purchases, which costs me nothing. I have asked to reverse charges but have received no joy and cancel the petro card and all they did was send me the rules which is too late after "the horse has bolted". I want a complete refund. I emailed Candice on 10 January at 6.58 pm and told her to come back to me with a response by close of business on Monday 14 January. This has been totally ignored. Again this is a classic case of offering something for "free" which turns out not to be free - total misrepresentation
