First National Bank
How many promises can be broken?

MAYBE the THIRD complaint that I am submitting MIGHT get someone's attention but I am not holding my breath. I submitted a complaint on the 14 February about an issue that I have with the bank and that I have been trying to sort out since LAST YEAR. It was told to me that a complaint has been opened under reference 254442 and escalated to core banking.
A MONTH later and still no answer, I lodged yet another complaint on 14 March. I was apologised to for not having an answer and told that the matter had been escalated AGAIN. This is now a week later and yet STILL nothing.
Please tell me what to do, do I just leave the bank and take my business somewhere else? Do I go to the press and then maybe I could possibly get an answer? Do I lodge an official complaint with the ombudsman? Do I go to a branch and take up the branch manager's time and refuse to leave until I get an answer? Or do I just sit back and take this utterly disgusting service and HOPE that I get an answer?
