I paid for an account at Telkom. I used a debit card. The amount was for R 2, 779.47. After the transaction was made I had about R1000 in my account.
The following day I saw that my account was suddenly in arrears with R1700. Suddenly there was a double charge of R 2, 779.47.
Now I can't drive to work or buy food, because Standard Bank won't allow me to access my money. I thought having R60 airtime would be enough to sort this out with them over the phone, but after I waited 20 minutes to get through to BUSINESS BANKING, they told me they couldn't call me back, and my airtime ran out.
I can't buy more airtime because I can't access my money due to the double charge. How the can they not call me back? They have taken close to R40000 from me in bank fees, but can't call a business customer back when they mess up?
All I want is my money back. Call me immediately.
