In the beginning i had problems swiping my card, i went into the standard bank in George as i were there on holiday and the problem continued, when i came back to PE i went to standard bank again and informed them of the problem and they told me that it were sorted, i discovered it wasnt. I went back a third time and then it was finally sorted. Today i had the worst day ever. went to the ATM requested an amount to withdraw, stood there waiting for 15minutes while the machine read processing request. i phoned the number on the ATM i spoke to a coloured male who helped me, took my id number and then my airtime died. i thought that he would have understood that i didnt have money and i am a young female stranded in the middel of no where without money or have the decency to call me back. i realised that he never sorted the problem out for me when i tried to swip my card in the shop. the lady in the shop tried to swipe the card 4 times she showed me the screan that said invalid request. it was humiliating as i am i very proud person and the que behind me was long. i managed to get a friend to send me airtime, i called standard bank again they put me on hold, took all my airtime.
