ATM or not working ATM

On Friday of the 22 of March 2013 at 09:47 in the morning i went to an ATM in Shell garage in Westonaria to withdraw money on a standard bank atm machine, i put in my card asked for the money i want R2000, the ATM showed me that it is processing my request, then it gave me my card and said to take the cash, but there was no cash coming out and i waited and then the machine said it is retracting the money back but still there was no money and then the screen went to a normal mode. so i rushed into the westonaria standard bank brached to be helped after a slowest queue ever i got to the enquiry to be helped and they could not help me except they must call the department . she called them inside the bank, gave me the phone i explained what happed and they told me it is going to take 15 working days to be solved and the lady at the westonaria bank make a copy of my id and took my number.
the following week i thought i never got a reference number let me call the department and find out how far are they with my request only to find out there was no such request made it was not registered so i was told that i had to make a new request which is going to take 12 working days
