On 2013-02-21 my house was broken into. I reported the damage to ABSA insurance @ 12:50 for the repairs of the security doors as well as the replacement of the doors and locks. I promptly received an SMS informing me that consultants were appointed to oversee the repairs. PJS maintenance was appointed to do the repairs and came to the property to do the assessment. I was informed that it would take more or less a week to get approval. after a week no response and when i started to do enquiries, no response. On 2013-03-07 @09:40 I called and was connected to Lorraine. I explained that it was 2 weeks and my house can still not lock. Was promised she would get back to me before end of day, as the quote was high. No response from her. On 2013-03-11 @14:15 I phoned again and had to leave a message as she was busy. At 15:30 I phoned again and left another message. At 16:00 she returned the call promising to call back on 2013-03-12 with an answer. For more than two weeks my house cannot lock and I am not covered for another break in if this is not repaired. this doesn't seem to bother them at all. As long as they collect their premiums on time, everything is fine.
