I applied for a student loan online but must admit that the experience had was truely bad. I completed the application and submitted it. Soon after that I received e-mail to inform that application was referred. I wanted to submit my documents but there was no email address only a fax number. Fnb obviously does not cater for people who have e-mail accounts and don't have fax machines. I decided to phone student loans only to be told that they don't see my application. They informed me that I needed to call 0860 562 763 and they told me my application was declined due to affordability. I want to know why nobody contacted me, why I was not informed by anyone that it was declined. The agent informed that I should try another bank. There was no effort made to initiate an arbitration process.
