SO after jumping through all the Affordability calculation hoops, sending multiple statements and payslips, holding us on tender hooks, we receive a call and nice email letting us know that because we are not FNB customers we do not qualify for a homeloan, in spite of my having 3 vehicles financed with Wesbank, PLEASE update your T&C on your website to state that potential customers will be held hostage to open a transactional account if they require a FNB Homeloan. It astounds me that FNB will alienate their core business for the priviledge of a cheque account on their books.
