My son (17) is travelling to the US in less than a week. I applied for my travel card to be loaded with forex for his trip. the bank is refusing to load my card claiming my son who is knot of legal age, my apply for this card in his name. this is illogical and pathetic. How can he do this if he is 17. What i see here is that the bank is willing to make money (card fee) at the expense of frustrating the customer. what is worse is that i am expected to go to the bank and sign on his behalf anyway!! it is this time and effort that i do not have and hence my switch to FNB as they promised less trips to the bank. if even i request delivery I am still going to be charged for it. FNB is proving to be just like any other bank, full of promises and no delivery at crunch time.
