First For Women Insurance
Vehicle still not repaired since September 2012

In September 2012, my vehicle was hail damaged (vehicle was two moths old/young), and all the necessary was done for the vehicle to be repaired. After a four month battle of note with both my insurance company and the panelbeaters, the vehicle finally went in for its body repairers. The vehicle was repaired, if you can call it that and possession of the vehicle taken from the panelbeaters. After careful inspection of the vehicle and writing a long letter of complaint, due to the fact that the repairers were below SAMBRA Standards, the vehicle was once again inspected at the insurance companies assessment centre by both the Senior Assessor and the Senior Management from TC Autobody. It was agreed that the vehicle would be repaired according to standards and that the estimated time for repairers would be no longer than two weeks. This was in early February. It is now the 8th March, and we still have not received the vehicle back from the panelbeaters. We have now decided that enough is enough. You guys have wasted our time for over 6 months to repair a hail damaged vehicle. We are now reporting this matter to the Ombudsman in Pretoria, and will lodge an official complaint with SAMBRA.
