I got into an accident on the 08 November 2013, my windscreen was smashed therefore i was not in a drivable condition. So it was towed to SMD Atlas/ Boksurg, the yard has no cover parking... it is just an open field.
First week passsed, then during the second week i called my insurance to find out if my vehicle has been assesed and towed to the panelbeaters. To my suprised it was not, my vehicle got to be inspected on the 20 Nov 2013 which is 2xweeks later. And on that week it is when the hail storm started, i bothered again to call my insurance to call SMD as i was concerned that my vehicle would be damaged as it is just on an open field and there is no cover.
By the time the vehicle was inspected on the 20th Nov, the vehicle had more damaged beause of the hail. On the 22 my insurance informed me that my vehicle is towed to panelbeaters, nobody informed me of the damaged, i had to request my insurance to send somebody to inspec my vehicle if there is no hail damage... unfortunately it was, sad part is nobody from SMD bothered to inform me about it. My vehicle is coming out of the panelbeaters, nobody from SMD is informing me on what is going to happen.
