Transferred to 11 people with no assistance

I am trying to apply for a temporary increase of my overdraft credit limit - I phoned the call centre and have been transferred to 11 different people and still no-one can assist me.
I am tagged as private banking but do not have a private banker? This is terrible service - must I use another bank?
