I made a payment online through Easypay using my FNB debit card, this was to pay an outstanding amount to another Bank. This transaction was unsuccessful as I reached my daily limit. I attempted again the following day but still no luck. Both times i received an SMS saying that the transaction failed and I expected the money to be reversed bank into my account. I did some research on Hello Peter and found that I need to call FNB to do a manual refund.
I went ahead and called FNB on 0113692888 to get this sorted out but was told that I need to contact EASYPAY to get a letter stating that they have not received the money.
Honestly i do not understand why me as a customer have to solve FNB's mistake, when their motto states "how can we help you? " But in fact they not much helpful at all because I am forced to help myself.
