I was told today that my policy I had with Absa, which is mechanical breakdown (Warranty) insurance, has been expired with no reason. I put in a claim this morning and received an sms saying my claim has been rejected, with no reason stated. When I phoned them, I was told my policy expired in 2012 but my premiums have been deducted monthly and up to date. Why wasn't I told before? Only to find out when I am claiming, not fare at all.
