Absa has just confirmed that my mechanical breakdown policy expired in March 2012 without giving me any notification and my contract doesn't stipulate such a polity lasting only 2 years as I signed the contract in march 2010. As if thAt was not enough a gentleman by the name Vaugh confirmed the insurance was registed with Innovation Group and referref me to them, to my suprise the company couldnt find any policy, expired or not under my name nor the car details!!!
I called ABSA again and they me kept waiting for over 30 minutes by Portia who still unhelpful as she emphasised that i need to take up my enquiry with the isurer who doesnt HAVE ANY OF MY DETAILS BYT THE WAY. PORTIA SUGGESTED I THEN REFER THE MATTER TO THEIR COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT AT 0800414141.
