Good Afternoon

Last week Monday 25/02/2013 I lodged a Miscellaneous claim online with Claim No 13/015384.

I called in on 26/02/2013 and told the consultant what happened. She then proceeded to change the claim to a pipe claim after confirming with what pipe it was.

SIL then sent out suppliers to assess and quote on damages.

On Friday 01/03/2013 I called in and spoke to Debbie Goodoon, who informed me that my claim was approved and that the carpet contractors will call me to setup an appointment to uplift the carpets that have rotted.

Saturday the Contractors arrived and removed all the rotten Carpets and today they called to confirm colour for the new carpets.

I then called SIL again today to enquire as to when the Kitchen Contractors will contact me as the cupboards have also started to rot and there is mould growing on the shelves and to my surprise I was then told that my claim is invalid.

Surely if the one is Approved the other should be too.

This claim is in line with the Policy wording section 2.5
