Insurance is just not doing anything

On the 11th of December 2012 our house was flooded with rain, we called Absa insurance on the 12th of December 2012. I put in the claim for roof and carpets a claim number was given 2299463. And then the wait started on the 18th of December I once again called Absa to find out what was happening because once again it rained and once again we had a very wet house. I was told the contractor would be in contact, a man arrived at our house and took photo's and measured every room affected and said he would send it all in to our insurance this was for the roof and damage to electric supply in the 1 bedroom. On the 14th of January after more water I once again called absa and asked what about the carpets I was told that no claim was made for the carpets but it would be done now. after a few more days we had someone that came and made a quot. We are sick all the time I have sort of dried out the carpets but the smell is horrible and stays moldy. It's now 13 February 2013 and still nothing the roof is still leaking the carpets are damp my husband is going to land up in hospital if this keeps on and there is no way we can get into contact with Marinda De Beer.
