What an excuse to reject a claim because a sewage pipe is brittle, wear and tear. What a load of rubbish. Never in my life have i heard a claim being rejected due to wear and tear. Please get a proper report from the plumbers and contractors, from the video footage there is evidence of a crack/ hole in the pipe. These pipes have been replaced 3 years ago and for the contractors to quote on replacing a pipe between 21 to 30 meters is not true because the video footage refers to one single spot where the pipe is brocken, a quote to re=place a pipe is never R25000-00, i instructed King Price to get two more quotes to check if the pricing is more or less the same. They have also suggested that the pipe has collapsed but once again no evidence to back this up. Due to this inflated quote King Price is rejecting my claim, and yes the policy is contradicting with comments. I need 2 more quotes and a proper inspection done to the pipes on my property, Why do i pay insurance? King Price is definitely passing the buck as they never even opened the ground/ dug up to see if the PVC pipe is brittle, I am not happy with the reasons given to reject my claim.
