I recently resigned from work at UTi Pharma and alexander forbes received my notice that I had resigned on the 18 January 2013. I then called alexander forbes to check if they received my notice and they told me they did receive it and will only be processed from 31 of january 2013. According to what one of their agents told me is that it takes four to six weeks for the to finish and send the funds to it's owner but to my surprise I got an sms on the 22 of February saying they just started processing my claim and I will get a response within the next 10 working days, mind you that's 22 days late and this coming thursday the 10 days will be reached. So last week I called again to check and I was told another story now. They said one of my funds (UTi Flexi Fund) has been processed but they don't know why I haven't received the money, the other fund (IHD Retirement Fund) has not been processed. According to my calculation we on the fifth week this week and with these stories they are giving me, I don't think I'll get my money on time. I haven't paid rent and my other bills, my family is also taking a strain with this issue. I did all they asked of me to do
