Money not yet reversed

On Monday 31 December I saw that almost R1100 was debited from our savings account, and we did not have a clue who it was paid to. My husband went to Standard Bank on Wednesday 2 January 2013 to reverse the money, and the lady told him it would take 2 - 3 days then the money would be in our account. Last week I checked every day, the money didn't show. My husband went there on Friday 11 January and on Saturday 12 January, he could not be helped, he was told only the lady that did the reversal could help him. It has now almost been two weeks, and still no money. Over the past couple of months we have lost a lot of money to debit orders that we did not authorize. When we go to Standard Bank, they just shrug their shoulders and say these companies do it. Then we reverse the money, we have to pay the banking fees just to get our money back. We are sick and tired of losing our money this way, we feel that our bank needs to protect our money against these. Because now it seems everyone can put in a debit order against your account and take your money. We want our money ASAP, because R1100 out of your budget is a lot!!!
