Funds not transferred

On 7 January 2013, I requested that a payment be made to my supplier in Brazil. I received a deal receipt the same day (Transaction No: TR08446874213A07). When the funds were not received by my suppliers bank, I contacted the foreign department. They checked on the transaction and found that the funds were still at an intermediary bank in New York, who said that there was insufficient information regarding the beneficiaries account in Brazil, so they were unable to forward the funds. I double checked with the supplier and Randburg branch that the correct information had been supplied (and I've used these details many times before) by myself and Absa and everything checked out. I have to say that Kefiloe and Lillian, at Randburg branch, have been extremely helpful throughout, but I think that Head Office now needs to get involved in order to sort out this problem. My supplier is now threatening to halt production of my order, if the funds are not received TODAY, so it's imperative that urgent action be taken. Many thanks in advance for your help.
