African Independent Brokers
Complaint

On the 8th August 2012 my vehicle was involved in a car accident.i than phoned Vuyisile from the claim department who told me my claim was declined because my driver did not have a PDP (which was not true).i therefore requested records between the insurer and myself via my attorney but nothing has been forthcoming.i also phoned Mashoda asking for records but nothing has been fourth coming. Records would clearly show that at no stage did the insurer mention anything about PDP nor at least requested to see a certifiede copy of the PDP or driver's license. Question is how can they insurer decline my claim on a PDP they never mentioned anything about, requested nor even seen before our agreement. Copies of the PDP were requested after the accident.i therefore submit that the reasons for declining my claims are unfair.
Your immediate intervention will be appreciated in this regard.
