On 14 August 2013 I submitted a claim for accident damage to the above mentioned insurer. I was send to the assessment center and was told the insurer would get back to me the following day. The following day I phoned the insurer and inquired about my claim.By the person answering the call I was told that I have a saver plan which does not cover for accidents only total loss and third party claims. This was unknown to me. I have requested my policy documents to be send to me via post as I have lost the e-mailed copy. I have yet to receive these documents. After numerous phone calls to the insurer I have yet to know what the total cost of the damage is and who is responsible to pay. They are in the process of listening to the recording of the sale of the policy. Does it really take 6 working days to listen to a recording. All I want to know is what is the total amount of the damage and am I going to pay for it or will the insurer cover the cost as I did not know about the saver policy. I thought it was for household goods only and not car insurance.
