Duration of Claim settlement

I was involved in a motor vehicle accident on the 28th October 2012, I submitted my claim to the above insurer on the 30th October 2012. They sent me numerous claim documents (which i found strange as most insurance companies claim processes are done telephonically) that i completed and returned to them. They also requested cell phone records and the accident report (which i paid for) and the vehicle Natis documents from the bank and all these were given to them. To date it has been over three months since my accident and me submitting my claim and there is still no finalisation to the matter. All they do is send me sms's that the claim is with the Insurere for a decision. I have never experienced a insurance claim that takes 3 months and in al this time i am without a vehicle. This situation is getting out of hand, as no one can even give me an indication of when this matter will be resolved.
