Extremely Poor Service!

I have applied for an overdraft facility for my business towards the end of December 2012. During the beginning of January I was told that the facility has been granted without any conditions. Upon arrival at the branch it was a different story and I was now told that I have to provide security in the form of ceding my personal policies. I completed this exercise, handed everything in but sadly never heard anything from them again. So "the waiting game begins", not to mentioned the constant calling from my side and not one of my calls returned. I then called the Action line on 14/01, received a text message with a reference number, yet another dead end. Have also tried to contact various senior managers at Absa Business Bank and was never able to speak to one of them telephonically or secure an appointment. My application has changed hands 3x and was I eventually able to establish that the facility was approved on 18/02. I went into the branch and signed the contract. I was told the facility will be captured. This is now 5 days later and I am still waiting. Applied at FNB, approved and contract ready within 8 days. Is Absa deliberately trying to get rid of customers?
