About 3 weeks ago my electricity tripped off due to lightening and heavy rains. I tried calling the call centre but it was after hours. I checked for an electrician on the internet and called a company Indoor Electrical, they looked ok. besides i needed someone urgently and they were there.
They changed cables and switches etc and wanted to do the outside but I told them let me have lights inside for now and i paid him and in the interim I will send the quote to standard bank so that they can cover the payment before the outside gets done. I have had no lights outside since then.
It has been over 2 weeks with a number of calls to the call centre from myself and still no feedback. I get through today TO A MANAGER (AFTER A BATTLE) BECAUSE THEIR CALL CENTRE IS UP TO NO GOOD! and they tell me the quote is too high and they start querying what was done!!! I PAY MY INSURANCE AND NOW THEY WANT TO QUESTION?? THEY WILL NOW SEND THEIR OWN ELECTRICIAN?? AFTER 2 WEEKS? BEST I CANCEL BOTH MY BONDS WITH THEM AND GO TO ANOTHER BANK! i beleive it is only standard bank that always have issues when it come to paying out claims.
