GENERAL HANDYMAN SENT WHEN ARTISAN NEEDED

When I was cold called with this insurance product offering I was lead to believe that the service covers electrical, appliance or plumbing problems at home up to the value of R2000. In the event of me needing a service provider it was simple. I must just phone in, state my problem and a repairman will be sent out.

So last week I had an electrical problem with my general wiring. The plugs had no power yet the earth leakage hadn't tripped. I phoned in and clearly stated that I need a qualified electrician. After several calls in finally a contractor arrived. This was Fast n Furious Locksmith. He was very pleasant and told me his electrician was with him. I said that the job would be his providing he could send me the qualifications of his electrician. The quote of R6200 was acceptable to me; I knew the first R2000 is covered by you. Sadly the certifications never followed through and I was forced to source my own CERTIFIED electrician to rewire the board. The cost to me has been R6000 and it seems that you would not cover me as per your policy wording. Now when there is a fire hazard problem, how do I NOT ensure I'm dealing with a competent electrician? Will you reimburse me still
