In January my husband applied for an extension on the bond in order to do some renovations. All relevant documentation was completed/delivered to Eastgate Branch. On the 30 January an evaluator came to our property to do an evaluation. We were told that it would take a few days, after the evaluation, for us to receive feedback.By Wednesday 13th of February (more than 2 weeks after the evaluation) we had not received any feedback. My husband called 0860123001 for an update and spoke to one of the consultants at home loans (we unfortunately did not make note of his name). The consultant said that it was strange that we had not received any feedback, and undertook to look into the matter and provide us with feedback by Friday 15th February. It is now over a week later, and the consultant we spoke to has NOT (as promised) come back to us. We do not have the time or patience to run after Standard Bank - do you or don't you want our business!!! As clients you should be contacting US! Why have we not had any word from Standard Bank? Why did the consultant not call us as promised? What is the status of the application?
