Property evaluation not done

Applied for a new home loan. The Bank refused to evaluate the property in question repeatedly. We have written letters and locked a complaint with the Bank, to no avail. They apparently did a desktop evaluation and considered the Body Corporate evaluation of this property to reach their decision for reducing the loan amount. Unfortunately they never requested any documentation from the Body Corporate and this leads me to believe that Standard Bank is dishonest and unethical in their dealings. Their staff is also not equipped to deal with difficult situations in a professional manner. All of the above prompts me to consider that Standard Bank have a alterior motivation for their decision. They have also involved me, the client in their internal politics and have also requested that I do the job of their evaluator to secure our application. This behaviour is unacceptable and very disappointing.
