First National Bank
Proof of Address

I applied for an FNB Smart Cheque account and was advised that I would be contacted regarding my application in a few days time.
14 days later I still had not received any correspondence from said bank. I therefore called them and only then was my application processed and the consultant assured me that she would send me the proof of address form via email before the end of the day. Two days later I still did not have it. I called again and I was told asked to give them my email address which I did and I was told to expect the form in the next 10 minutes.

This was last week Tuesday. I still do not have that form.

Today I was told that my card is ready at my branch and I must produce my proof of address form at the collection point.

I do not have it.

Standard Bank processed my savings account in 2 hours!
