Refusing to refund the bank charges

On the 5th December 2012, a sales consultant Shewin called me as I wanted insurance. I made it clear that I wanted my debit to go off on the 20th of December 2012. Another consulted called me to cross sell the touch-up policy and again I confirmed that the debit would go off on the 20th December 2012. On both occassions I was assure that it will go off on that day. The debit went off on the 1st January 2013 and it was returned because there were not enough funds. I called on 10th January 2013 spoke to Lee-Ann to query, I was told that they would call me, nobody called. I called again on the 21st January 2013 spoke to Sbongile and she told me that my request has been declined and that I was explained that my debit order will go off on the 1st January 2013. I requested to listen to both calls. No feedback.
