On 22 Oct 2012 in accident, all proof of documents provided to report claim on 23 Oct 12, I was informed that the claim was approved, vehicle to be send for repairs. On 22 November after numerous attempts I was informed that the claim was never authorised, thus nothing done for repairs. No excuses, no explanations, no call back from manager after leaving numerous messages. The explanation given was that it was a trainee handling my claim, and that is why the mistake krept in. On 08 January 2013 informed still nothing done to vehicle, not even at panel-beaters. On 09 Jan 13 told vehicle will be towed for repairs. After complaint log on website of insurer, I was offered a courtesy vehicle for 21 days only from 12 Jan 13 to 02 Feb 13, insurer not willing to extend courtesy vehicle use although vehicle was only towed to panel-beaters on 09 Jan 13, thus a delay of 51 days before any services rendered, is this customer service? I expect to wait for part and service to be rendered, but this is outrageous. One department blames the other when you call to make enquiries.
