I have put my claim in for hail damage on my vehicle in April 2013 and I have notified the assessor at Sandton Santam office that I need to get a courtesy car from the panel beaters where my car will be repaired as I do not have any other mode of transport. Panel beaters have been acquired and they informed me that it would take 2 months to get an available courtesy car. After 3 months I contacted the panel beaters to find out when will I be able to get my car repaired and they said they are still waiting for a courtesy car to become available.
It has now been 7 months since being informed of the company who will handle my repair and still I have not been informed when I will be able to get my vehicle repaired
I am deeply disappointed that Santam would select a dealer that brings their reputation into disrepute for services not being rendered even though the claim has been processed in April!!!
