Please help me with the following.
I took out a policy with King Price Insurance. My vehicle's M3 mags were added as an extra, due to the fact that these mags are expensive. My vehicle was involved in an accident now King Price allowed R100.00 for the mag to be repaired, while I am only allowed 8 days with a courtesy car, after I chose to have the vehicle repaired at a decent Panel Beaters where I am working. I have a courtesy vehicle option on my policy which I pay for every month. On the date I registered my claim I asked for how many days the courtesy vehicle is available and the Claims clerk advised me for max 30 days. Later on they advised me that the vehicle is only available for the time in which their chosen panel beaters would repair my car. King price presented me with the option to pay out my claim of to chose one of their suggested Panel shops, I requested them to pay me out after which they told me management decided I Will have my vehicle repaired at their shops! I took it further and eventually they agreed to pay me out. My quote after using 2nd hand spares = R25000, Kp is paying me out R13434.94. Why do I only have my courtesy car for 8 days?
