I WENT TO A FNB ATM TO WITHDRAW MONEY TO BUY ME A TICKET, UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE NEVER USED AN FNB ATM BEFORE AND IT KEPT GIVING A SERVICE ERROR, AFTER THE SECOND ATTEMPT MY CARD NEVER CAME OUT THE MACHINE AND WHEN I PRESSED CANCEL, THE MOMENT IT POPPED OUT A MAN CAME FROM BEHIND AND GRABBED IT OUT OF THE SLOT. IT WAS A FNB ATM IN THE MAIN ROAD OPPOSITE VASCO STATION, I AM A ABSA ACCOUNT HOLDER.
I WAS TRAUMATISED A GOOD SAMARITAN CAME UP TO ME AND GAVE ME A R20 TO GET TO TOWN TO WORK. I WENT TO WORK TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED AND WENT TO ABSA, LAID MY COMPLAINT AND THEY GAVE ME A CASE NUMBER AND THEN I WENT TO FNB SEEING THAT IT IS THERE ATM MY CARD GOT FROM. LAID A COMPLAINT THERE AND GOT MY REFERENCE AND WHILE I WAS AT FNB ANOTHER MAN REPORTED THE INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED 2HIM, HAPPENED AT ABOUT PASS10 THE MORNING.
SUNDAY AFTER, I WENT TO GOODWOOD POLICE STATION MADE, A CASE GOT A AFFADAVIT AND CASE NUMBER. I TOOK THE AFFADAVIT 2ABSA MONDAY MORNING STILL NO PROGRESS, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK THEY SEND ME A SMS MY CLAIM HAS BEEN REJECTED. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!!
MY HARD EARNED MONEY WAS TAKEN FROM ME WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I WANT MY REINBURSEMENT THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
